SQUAMISH – Woodfibre LNG continues to strengthen its commitment to the Squamish and Squamish Lillooet Regional District communities by announcing $150,000 in funding to support 64 local non-profits through the Spring 2025 intake of its Community Partnership Program. This latest contribution brings the total support provided to the community through the program to $910,000.

The Community Partnership Program aims to support local non-profits that make important contributions to the community through their programs in sports, recreation, health and wellness, arts and culture, and search and rescue and marine safety. With intake cycles in the Spring and Fall, non-profits can apply for up to $5,000 in funding once per year per project.

“At Woodfibre LNG, we believe that being a good neighbour means showing up, listening, and giving back in meaningful ways, and this program is just one example of how we’re putting that commitment into action,” said Luke Schauerte, CEO of Woodfibre LNG.

“We’ve seen past recipients of the Community Partnership Program achieve incredible results with our support,” Schauerte added. “As the program grows in popularity, for the Spring 2025 intake, we’re pleased to be able to support more non-profits than ever before. Whether it’s first-time recipients or returning organizations, we look forward to seeing the positive impact they’ll have in the community in the months ahead.
