For the funding round that closed in October, Woodfibre LNG granted $150,000 to 62 local not-for-profit and community-based organizations serving Squamish and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

With Brennan Park’s rink closed in recent weeks, Squamish Minor Hockey families faced unexpected travel costs to keep players on the ice. Now that the rink has reopened, Woodfibre LNG’s support helps cover those extra expenses so local kids can focus on playing the game they love.

Local charity groups and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for funding of up to $5,000 by October 10, 2025.

Woodfibre LNG continues to strengthen its commitment to the Squamish and Squamish Lillooet Regional District communities by announcing $150,000 in funding to support 64 local non-profits through the Spring 2025 intake of its Community Partnership Program. This latest contribution brings the total support provided to the community through the program to $910,000.

Local charity groups and non-profit organizations from Squamish or the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District are encouraged to apply for funding of up to $5,000 by May 3, 2025.

The Mt. Chaki Canoe Club has preserved the cultural heritage of canoeing for over 24 years, helping youth connect with their roots through racing and tradition. With the support of the Woodfibre LNG Community Partnership Program, the club continues to foster values of discipline, teamwork, and respect for the land and water while offering a second family for its members. The Community Partnership Program funding has been essential in helping the club focus on training, race preparation, and youth development.
