Squamish and Sea-to-Sky region non-profit organizations are invited to apply for up to $5,000 of funding by October 11, 2024.

Woodfibre LNG is delighted to announce donations totaling $150,000 to 50 local non-profits in Squamish and Squamish Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) as part of the company’s spring intake of the 2024 Community Partnership Program.

Woodfibre LNG is supporting the long-term health of the community by working with the Squamish Hospital Foundation to invest in medical devices and infrastructure, like the pediatric Sim doll or the new CT scanner for the Squamish General Hospital while providing lasting benefits for residents of the Sea to Sky region.

Through the Community Partnership Program, Woodfibre LNG was pleased to be able to support the Pemberton Fire Rescue with grant funding to acquire road rope rescue equipment crucial for low-angle situations.

Woodfibre LNG supported the Squamish Quilters' Guild with a donation to help offset their ongoing costs, including storage, batting, fabric, and their monthly workspace at the Sandman Hotel through its Community Partnership program.

Woodfibre LNG's Community Partnership Program has supported the purchase of handicap accessible doors with automatic door opening buttons, as well as funding to replace flooring in the Legion's Diamond Head Lounge.
