Woodfibre LNG is proud to support local non-profits and community organizations that play a vital role in building a thriving Sea To Sky region.
We have established a Community Sponsorship Program, with a specific focus on organizations that are working in areas of education, youth, sport, and environmental initiatives.
Grants from Woodfibre LNG are awarded semi-annually, and determined through a formalized application process. In order to support as many groups as possible, we have created funding criteria to help organizations determine their eligibility.

To receive a grant, the group/individual must be based in Squamish-Lillooet Regional District and/or must deliver programs in the community. The following criteria will also be considered:
- The group/individual is focused on youth with an emphasis on education or sport programming
- The group/individual is focused on environmental initiatives
- Community Sponsorship grants will be distributed and announced semi-annually.
Groups will be considered ineligible for the Community Sponsorship Program if they are:
- Third party fundraisers
- Seeking goodwill advertising, travel expenses, retroactive requests, seminars
- Not located in Squamish Lillooet Regional District
To apply for funding, please fill out our Woodfibre LNG Community Sponsorship Program Grant Application below. Applications will be reviewed by a Community Sponsorship Committee, which will consist of Woodfibre LNG employees. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
*Note: For 2020, we are considering applicants that provide services in tourism, sports, health, education, and environment for grants of up to $2,000. Submissions will be accepted between May 1 and June 30. Video submissions will be accepted until June 15.
