Woodfibre LNG CEO Luke Schauerte recently joined host Karen Restoule — Director of Indigenous Affairs & Senior Fellow at the McDonald Laurier Institute — on the Breakthrough Nation podcast. The conversation covered project progress, environmental stewardship, Indigenous partnership, and Canada's role in a changing global energy landscape.

Woodfibre LNG is now more than 65 per cent complete and remains on track for completion in late 2027. The tour highlighted the safe delivery of all 16 major modules to site, ongoing work to complete the project's final marine infrastructure and pilings, and the scale of activity currently underway throughout the facility.

Woodfibre LNG has initiated targeted in-water works at the project site in accordance with authorizations issued by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and under the Squamish Nation Environmental Assessment Agreement (SNEAA).
