Early this morning, there was a fire outside the Woodfibre LNG / FortisBC Community Office on Cleveland Avenue in Squamish.
The fire was primarily contained to the front of the Community Office, and quickly put out.
The Community Office was closed at the time and no staff were in the office.
RCMP are investigating, so we will reserve further comment on the fire while the investigation is ongoing.
Woodfibre LNG Limited would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Squamish Fire Rescue and Squamish RCMP for their quick response to the incident.
Our Community Office will remain closed while we make the necessary repairs.
