Woodfibre LNG Helps Canoe Club Paddle Forward
The Mt. Chaki Canoe Club has preserved the cultural heritage of canoeing for over 24 years, helping youth connect with their roots through racing and tradition. With the support of the Woodfibre LNG Community Partnership Program, the club continues to foster values of discipline, teamwork, and respect for the land and water while offering a second family for its members. The Community Partnership Program funding has been essential in helping the club focus on training, race preparation, and youth development.

Advancing Indigenous Inclusion: Woodfibre LNG’s Operator Training Program Enters the Power Engineering Phase
Woodfibre LNG’s Operator Training Program recently entered the Power Engineering Phase — in which candidates advance to learn the skills needed for long-term careers as Process Operators at the facility. The Operator Training Program is a two-year initiative offering Indigenous students, particularly Squamish Nation people, the chance to gain valuable, hands-on experience while preparing for careers as Process Operators.

August Construction Update
Woodfibre LNG has commenced concrete pouring for piperack foundations. The floatel is in place at the project site, currently providing accommodation for the construction workforce of approximately 350 people and expected to ramp up to full occupancy in the coming weeks.
