Before and After: Woodfibre LNG’s 2024 Progress
Over the course of 2024, the Woodfibre LNG project made significant strides, including the arrival of the floatel, progress on the Marine Offloading Facility, the pouring of concrete foundations, and marine work to support mooring structures for the Floating Storage Tanks. This progress was all made while adhering to federal, provincial and Sķwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) requirements.

December Construction Update
Construction continues on the Woodfibre LNG facility, including work on foundations for the LNG processing equipment and modules that are expected to begin arriving at site in 2025. August Construction Update
Woodfibre LNG has commenced concrete pouring for piperack foundations. The floatel is in place at the project site, currently providing accommodation for the construction workforce of approximately 350 people and expected to ramp up to full occupancy in the coming weeks.
