Woodfibre LNG Limited is proposing to build a land-based liquefaction facility with a floating storage and offloading unit (FSO).
Back in Spring of 2013, Woodfibre LNG ran parallel pre-FEED process for both land-based and floating LNG facilities.
In June of 2014, the decision was made to proceed with a land-based liquefaction facility and an FSO in response to community concern about the potential effects of underwater noise and vibration.
